I've been busy creating a couple of buttons that people can add to their blogs if they like. I know many of you do button exchanges, and I even have several of your buttons on my blog. It was requested of me this week that I post a button so that others can show it on their blogs. So, the buttons you see here are the result of that request.<br /><div></div><br /><div>This is my <span>dilemma</span>...I don't have a clue how to make the little box that will show my button and put the html code under it for people to copy and paste. I've seen several of you with these scrolling boxes, and would be ever so <span>grateful</span> if you could help me out by pointing me in the right direction for getting one of my own.</div><div></div><br /><div>Thank you so much, in advance for any help you can offer.</div><div></div><br /><div>Brightest Blessings,</div><div>CC</div></div><div><img width="1" height="1" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1847631183336719833-1062158319039870823?l=craftycelticcutie.blogspot.com" alt=""></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125235233485140146.post-51793337572972828432009-09-25T17:21:00.000-07:002011-03-17T04:37:44.686-07:00Emotional Vampires...In Cyber Space?<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_LeewMun5pek/Sr06nJV7Y0I/AAAAAAAAAJs/Wh5Tyyu3SZ8/s1600-h/Emotional+Vampire.gif"><img style="text-align:center;margin:0px auto 10px;width:173px;display:block;height:283px" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_LeewMun5pek/Sr06nJV7Y0I/AAAAAAAAAJs/Wh5Tyyu3SZ8/s320/Emotional+Vampire.gif"></a> <div></div><div></div><div>Most of us have heard of Emotional Vampires(EVs). You know who they are. Those people that seem to suck the energy right out of you with all of their drama and negativity. You may be in a great mood with lots of positive energy and great intentions for your day...then you bump into one of these people, they start talking, and by the time the encounter is over you've lost that positive attitute you had and you suddenly feel drained. These people just wear you out!!</div><div></div><br /><div>Well, I honestly haven't had one of these people in my life for a while. The people I see from week to week seem to be very upbeat and positive most of the time, and even when things aren't going right for them, they don't seem to drain me because of it.</div><div></div><br /><div>But I have managed to run into an online Emotional Vampire. Cyberspace is supposed to be my escape. I get online to chat and gain information and have fun. But each time I run into this person online, she manages to take that from me and make me want to run kicking and screaming from my laptop. LOL</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I have had the joy of being nominated by 2 fellow bloggers for the same award, and after a run in with this EV earlier, I'm just not in the right frame of mind right now to blog about it. And that bums me out! LOL So, this is my, "I need to complain and vent a little bit" post, and hopefully later this evening I will be in a better mood and will have regained some of my positive energy from earlier in the day. If I can regain some of that positivity, I will be back to blog and show off my award. :)</div><div></div><br /><div>Meanwhile, if you have any Emotional Vampires in your life (real world or cyber space), check out this article on how to handle it: <a href="http://patrickwanis.com/blog/index.php/2009/06/10/dealing-with-emotional-vampires/">Dealing With Emotional Vampires</a></div><div></div><div></div><div>I hope you are having a blessed day!!</div><div></div><br /><div>Hugs,</div><div>CC</div><div><img width="1" height="1" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1847631183336719833-2977100890462231310?l=craftycelticcutie.blogspot.com" alt=""></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125235233485140146.post-72451411080548108962009-09-24T15:14:00.000-07:002011-03-17T04:37:44.675-07:00My Home and Hearth BlogI haven't been feeling great for the last couple of days, so I haven't been on here to blog. But earlier this week I started working on a second blog. It is devoted to Home and Hearth...recipes, crafts, etc. I've got 2 posts on there. The first is a short intro, and the second is a recipe I found online that looks like fun for Halloween. I'm not promising daily posts over there, but I should have some good stuff to share from time to time. If you are interested pop on over and check it out. :)<br /><br /><a href="http://craftycutieshomeandhearth.blogspot.com/">Crafty Cutie's Home and Hearth</a><br /><br />CC<div><img width="1" height="1" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1847631183336719833-6762834984175036240?l=craftycelticcutie.blogspot.com" alt=""></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125235233485140146.post-87076849128927627182009-09-21T15:40:00.000-07:002011-03-17T04:37:44.663-07:00Moon Charm Giveaway<div align="center"><a href="http://wildwoodsartstudio.blogspot.com/"><img style="text-align:center;margin:0px auto 10px;width:259px;display:block;height:320px" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_LeewMun5pek/SrfW3J33mnI/AAAAAAAAAJk/enlGfJIaD_g/s320/047.JPG"> The Candy Corn Chronicles</a> is hosting a giveaway! I must admit I am preparing for it rather late, but I do want to observe it in some small way at least. Mabon, like most other sabbats this year has snuck up on me. Being so new to all of this, I am not yet accustomed to the Pagan holidays. I know that in time I will learn to anticipate them, and will know what to do for each one. Now, however, I am reading and learning all I can to prepare. I will share some of that here with you. It's like an addiction!! I don't finish the book I'm reading before I find half a dozen more I want to read. So many books...so little time. LOL<br /><br />Something I've noticed as I reach out to others in search of knowledge and information is that people are great about recommending books. (Would that be considered enabling my addiction?) What happens is I go to the bookstore or get online and I can't remember the names of the books that have been recommended. So...I'm going to use this blog post to list the books that have been recommended to me. Please feel free to post a comment and recommend your favorite books. They can be fiction or non fiction, magick or non-magic...whatever you like! :) I'll take your book recomendations and update the blog with them so we will have a list to refer back to. How does that sound? I only have two to post right now, but will update this post as often as I can adding to the list as I get recommendations. LOL<br /><br />(Stars * Denote Books I have in my own collection.)<br /><br /><strong><em>Magickal Non-Fiction:</em></strong><br /><strong><em></em></strong><br /><em><span style="color:#ff9900">"</span><a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Book-of-Shadows-A-Modern-Womans-Journey-into-the-Wisdom-and-Magic-of-Witchcraft-and-the-Magic-of-the-Goddess/Phyllis-Curott/e/9780767900553/?itm=1"><span style="color:#ff9900">The Book of Shadows" by Phyllis Currott</span></a></em><a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Book-of-Shadows-A-Modern-Womans-Journey-into-the-Wisdom-and-Magic-of-Witchcraft-and-the-Magic-of-the-Goddess/Phyllis-Curott/e/9780767900553/?itm=1"><span style="color:#ff9900"> </span></a><br /><a href="http://www.ashtreepublishing.com/bookshop/healingwise.php"><em><span style="color:#ff9900">"Healing Wise" by Susan Weed</span></em></a><span style="color:#ff9900"> <em>(</em></span><a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Healing-Wise/Susun-S-Weed/e/9780961462024/?itm=1"><em><span style="color:#ff9900">Barnes & Noble Link</span></em></a><span style="color:#ff9900"><em>)</em><br /><em><a href="http://books.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?WRD=Christopher+Penczak&box=Christopher%20Penczak&pos=-1"><span style="color:#ff9900">"Temple Series" (6 Total) by Christopher Penczak</span></a></em></span><span style="color:#ff9900"><br /><em><a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Magical-Oils-by-Moonlight/Maya-Heath/e/9781564147332/?itm=1"><span style="color:#ff9900">"Magical Oils by Moonlight" by Maya Heath (spells, potions and charms)</span></a></em><span style="color:#ff9900"><br /></span><em><a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Grimoire-for-the-Green-Witch/Ann-Moura/e/9780738702872/?itm=1&usri=1"><span style="color:#ff9900">"Grimoire for the Green Witch" by Ann Moura (correspondences, rituals and poetry)</span></a></em><br /><em>*<a href="http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Cottage-Witchery/Ellen-Dugan/e/9780738706252/?itm=1&usri=1"><span style="color:#ff9900">"Cottage Witchery" by Ellen Dugan (wonderful stuff to celebrate the Sabbats)</span></a></em><br /><strong><em></em></strong></span><br /><strong><em>Magickal Fiction:</em></strong><br /><strong><em></em></strong><br /><strong><em>Non-Fiction:</em></strong><br /><strong><em></em></strong><br /><strong><em>Fiction:</em></strong><div><img width="1" height="1" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1847631183336719833-2248289800667957045?l=craftycelticcutie.blogspot.com" alt=""></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
